I’ve decided counting calories is not the way to go for me. But conscious eating is!
When we I count calories, I tend to bring up old eating disorder related mindset, which is not good.
I get too obsessive on the numbers and/or binge after a day of restricting.
Now, I just eat what I enjoy but in much smaller portions and also try to make healthier choices. Such as low cal lemonade over soda, half a bagel instead of a full one, larger portions of protein over carbs to feel full.
The last week has been honestly great, and I’ve been consistently losing weight and I have a lot more energy, and not only energy but lasting energy throughout the day. I’m excited for the progress to come.
