SO last sunday i kinda started my own 30 day challenge (May 13-June 13) of doing one hour of exercise daily...EVERY DAY....even weekends. it is a lot easier said than done. especially considering my job is like 10 hours a day. THis week, mostly i did 30 in the morn and 30 after school. Except friday i was a lazy butt and did nothing in the morn which meant i still had to do my hour in the pm. it was murder... i was dog tired to start. if it hadn't been for vicky motivating me via text.... i would have just went home. i was really glad i didnt tho... i got my hour in AND i did a little trot 3 times... equating to about 45 sec of trot time. which isnt much at all, but its a start. Today (sat) i was in a sleep sleep sleep kinda mood, my eating was crappy for the first time all week, so thats prob why, but i did get my hour in... i went into LA Fitness at about 630 and left like at 730.... music is key! i jammed out to country. it was a great mix. I did 35 on the eliptical and 25 on the tread mill. the sad thing is the elliptical was easier. The funny thing is a week ago, i had only been doing 20 min sessions on the elliptical and that was a challenge, yet today i did 35 and i even upped the level to 8 for like 7 minutes or so. AND i then went to the tread mill after. I could feel the difference in my workout today and the ones in weeks prior. i think the healthy eating is partly the reason for success. i can't wait till i can do an hour on the elliptical no problem.

Lets talk about short term goals.
-I want to be at 300 by the end of summer, start of school. (thats 43 lbs)

-I want to be able to comfortably complete my hour every day,

-get my 2-3 32oz bottles of water drank... about 96 oz / day.

-Eat around 1700 calories, no simple carbs, ease up on the dairy.

I went on my own diet at the very strong encouragement of my doctor. He is very pleased with mine and my husbands weight loss. My husband can't figure out why I am losing faster that he is. I shy away from all dairy foods with the exception of 1 serving of fat free, sugar free pudding or fat free cheese per day. I only eat egg whites and try to keep my cholesterol, fat and sugar down eact day. We have completely cut out rice, potatoes, pasta and bread. The only kind of bread we eat is Ezekiel 4:9 Flourless bread. You can find many great recipes on the internet that are not fattening. We know longer fry our chicken, we found a great recipe for crispy oven fried chicken that is so tasty we forget it's not fried. It's not easy but there are many healthy satisfying substitute foods out there and just get creative. I also pray for guidance everyday and to get through without so many temptations. God is awesome and does care about our health and well being. You should have seed how excited I was to cut my own toe nails (first time in many years). It was so rewarding, and that is something many people take for granted. I will be praying for you and that you can see your weaknesses in eating. Looks like you eat some things healthy and like me cancel the healthy out by eating something no so good for us.

I have one suggestion. Try adding in some weight training to your cardio routine. Muscle takes up less room than fat in your body, cause it's denser and muscle burns energy (calories) even when at rest. Fat does nothing but sit there and add to itself. Give it a try!
