So, this is my first journal entry...
I've decided to go on a diet (well start eating healthily) since I've piled on the pounds over the last year. Although I should say, it hasn't entirely been my fault... (No, I'm not in denial! ... Well, maybe just a little :]). After going on the pill last year, my weight shot up and I've found it increasingly difficult to control my snacking. Slowly but surely, my weight has increased and I've become less and less motivated to do anything about it. Until now!

So, recently I've decided to start my resolution (with all the new found motivation so commonly associated with the New Year and a little help from my boyfriend, who really is wonderfully helpful) and do something at last. Well, I stumbled across this website (and to be honest - it really is quite amazing) which is helping me to control the amount I eat (and snack!) with the Diet Calendar and of course, meet loads of great people in the same boat as me! :]
So here I am.

It's working well for me so far and I can only wait and see if it's made a difference on my first 'Weigh Day' (Friday, 18/1). Good luck to all the rest of you out there!
