BigLil's Journal, 21 March 2010

Had a big sweet tooth today, apparently. Only had one waffle, but it was pretty big. Even though it's the healthy version, I'm assuming it has a pretty high point value, but I had no idea how to calculate the points. One serving of the mix is 1/3 cup, so I just estimated and said 2 servings. But to make the batter, you also add an egg and some skim milk. Not sure how that effects the point value, so I'll just say no more points for today, and that should cover it. It's been almost a week since starting WW, and I feel like I should have lost more than I have. Oh well. Keep pluggin.

I don't think you should expect to lose more than you have. That is a pretty quick pace.

WW says .5 to 2 lbs a week is what you should expect. Remember, it's a lifestyle change! I lost one pound this week. Been weight-watching for 6 weeks and have lost exactly 10 pounds. The first couple of weeks seemed very long, so stick with it and the time will start going by faster. I think weighing every day also makes it harder because you want to see some progress every day. Eat fruit and drink water for your snacks. Much more filling than the prepackaged snack bars, treats, etc. Keep at it!
