Just got back from a great hike. Hackberry Springs Loop, only this time we actually hiked down to the springs and then up the canyon and did a little boulder hopping on the way back for a short stretch. Beautiful day out, absolutely gorgeous, great weather, tons of green and some wild flowers and lots of water running. You'd never know it was the desert. Lovely. Think it was a good 7 + miles (gps lost signal a few times)and burned something like 1300 calories, too. I've been so hungry today, but I guess when you burn that much, it's understandable. I'll update calories next, think I'm at 1250 or so and haven't even had dinner. Definitely going over my calorie limit today, but shouldn't matter. I've burned 2500 today and it's only 5:00pm. It's days like today when I love this place. Hope to remember that when it's 117 degrees outside! Weighed myself this morning (cause I felt skinnier : ) and it was 161.8. I'm not recording it as I just recorded a weight yesterday and who knows what eating today will do to that, regardless of how many calories I burned. Still, good to know. Lowest number I've seen on this scale. Oh, and my BF was 37.4% (I think) and my water percentage was 44%. I've not seen either of those numbers until now.
