What a difference a day makes!!!!

First off, thanks, Evelyn and MB---you guys are so sweet and caring! I feel your spirit with me! Yes we will do this!!!

I had called a friend for coaching, and one thing lead to another, and now I have a new lease on life! A whole year of adventures ahead, a book in the works, possibly a radio series to follow, and a co-author who is a marketing consultant and a genius!! From that conversation, I got so fired up with all kinds of ideas and possibilities, that somehow it gave me reason to pay attention to creativity and action--and the diet and fitness stuff just lined up sub consciously...I just have so much to contribute to the world, my gifts are finally crystalized in a clear way where I can start working on the master plan...all with fun, adventure, and ideas from my bucket list! stay tuned!

Meanwhile: I went to pick up lunch and stuck with a garden salad with balsamic vinagrette and a mozz/tomato sandwich that I ordered in a flat bread (it was early enough, so I figured the bread won't hurt). I only ate the sandwich and saved the salad for later. I wrapped up work early and came home at 3-ish, and went for a walk to the park..chose a meditation track on my ipod, and was in a very uplifting place...and all along, beautiful scenery to guide my way. People were smiling, a guy was dancing by himself in the park, and life was very good. I even took a few minutes to sit on a bench and savor it all..by then I'd done 2 miles, so figured, it's not about cardio as much as the full experience of nourishment of body/mind/spirit.

Ironically, the track also talked about "Putting the intention on nourishment, and paying attention everyday to incorporating more nourishing things in my daily life"...I did that--intention and declaration of attention.

Also, another cool thing was to discover this app on my phone "map your walk" that tracked my miles, the route, the pace, steps, and all the necessary stats! I'll be able to see this everyday! Also, while walking, my hiking buddy texted to say it's not going to rain after all and if I'd go hiking! So I went!! After doing that 3.5 miles of walking, I went for a 3.2 mile hike!! It was beautiful, the nature, the people, the healthy conversations!

After coming home, I was lightly hungry, so made myself a one-egg omlet with cream cheese, scallions, and sundried tomatoes, and had a half slice of sourdough bread (I wondered if it was wise to eat so late--it was around 8, and i was planning to go to bed by 10, and also to eat such energy-giving food so late? But I decided to not feel guilty and enjoy what felt nourishing then).

Before the hike, I ate my leftover salad from lunch, and threw in a veggie patty, and had soymilk/whey protein shake with it....I feel very content with my meals and not as if I'm dieting!

I've kept up the water intake too. And the journaling. And the hiking is making me feel a little tired, so it'll be good and early sleep tonight i hope. I have my meals and gym bag ready for tomm, so plan to be up at 5 am, and hop to it!!

I have a lot to live for, thank for, and be happy about. I want to make a difference in the world. I finally feel my leadership call re-awoken, rather, created like never before!

The predictable will show up, no doubt, but like MB said, just keep trying different things everyday, and it WILL work! Trust the system. Trust the magic and the wonder of it all.

Thanks for writing such a positive and uplifting journal. You've made my day and it's only just begun :) I'm so happy for you that you've opened up to the "magic and wonder of it all". Just like Glinda The Good Witch told Dorothy, "You've always had the power..." You go, girl! Woot! Woot!

Wow! That's quite a difference in a day! Remember that when you are down, tomorrow will be better! Congrats on the book and possible radio show. That's wonderful. Good job on the eating and exercising. YOU GO GIRL!! :-)
