I love this site. This is my first day here & my first day trying to really make a difference. I've had Lap-band since 2006 & have only lost around 60#. I've constantly had problems to the point where I'm embarrassed that I had it done & failed. I have thrown up for 4 years & now am having a constant sour taste in my mouth. Food barely has any taste at all.
After crying uncontrollably last night it finally clicked that I have to take control. There is no easy fix for this disease. It's taken 46 years for this to click. Thank you God for giving me the strength today. All I can do is take it one day at a time. I feel great since this is the first day that I can remember in forever that I haven't failed before breakfast.
My work has started a weight loss challenge & I weighed in & then found this sight(by accident!! OR WAS IT???)
