Planning and preparation is key to my the weight loss objectives.I prepare a weekly menu and follow it closely. Do I slip every once in a while? Yes. So what, as long as I remain consistent. Every night, I prepare my breakfast and lunch for for the following day. It's extremely cost effective and gives me a sense of control/accomplishment that I'm actively striving towards my weight loss goal. I have two boys and a wife that have been fighting me every inch of the way towards eating healthy. I've managed to ignore the pizza, mac and cheese, etc. and I'm stronger for it. I have shifted my diet to mainly fruits and vegatables, but it been a slow progression thus far.

The overall objective is to remain consistent. Slipping once in a while is ok. Don't be hard on yourself, but don't be to carefree either.
