There was three weeks where not much was happening. I suddenly lost about two pounds in the first week and a half alone, then the scale seemed to stall--that was when I started building muscle and eating more protein. I only lost about two pounds during the first two weeks, now [after my period is over, if that has partly to do with it] within a few days the scale has dropped two more pounds. I'll watch to see if this happens again next month during the two weeks before and during my period to see if I have a monthly "water gain" episode.

I'm keeping the caloies below 1400 on non-working days, and 1600 on working days where I'm up for over 16h. Perhaps this is also the point where the building muscle weight versus burning fat weight is tipping towards muscle buring more calories now. I'm speeding up my metabolism as well with the exercise, green tea, and B-Complex vitamins.

I've been on the bicycle about 5 days a week for at least an hour, doing Pilates at least three times a week, Lotte Burke at least two, and Carmen Electra about once. And today I went down to the weight room for the first time to "pump some iron"--worked my upper body (shoulders, biceps, pecs and trapezoids). I'm also now looking for a jungle gym to do the ultimate ab exercise; the weight room doesn't have a bar to use. Time for a bike ride...
