My daughter said "you look skinnier, momma." I explained to her I was watching my calories and then proceeded to explain calories are energy, and all that. She followed the conversation along asking questions. What's super nice is the theme for her school this year is "a healthier me is the way I want to be." I coached the conversation along the terms of health, but left out the fact that Momma really wants to rock a swimsuit at the beach.
