I finally came to the conclusion, yesterday, that I am going to have to make some SUPER TINY baby steps in order to acheive my ideal wieght! First thing on the list...make a goal for today only! And, today's goal...to NOT allow myself to make excuses or exceptions to put something in my mouth that will not help me acheive my ideal weight!!!
Yesterday I found myself STILL making exceptions to eat things I shouldn't! 1) Wanted a McDonalds breakfast. I don't normally eat McDonalds at all, but I was craving their sausage bisquite and coffee. 2) I wanted a latte in the afternoon. I was kidding myself into thinking it would help me "wake up". Ha ha! RIGHT! All it did was give me a burst of energy for about 15 minutes and then crashed, and was even more tired.
So far today, I'm doing good. Had my protein shake for breakfast and have good snacks to take to work. Have an idea of what I'm going to have for lunch and dinner. Just need to focus on NOT having a latte. I seem to be addicted to them AGAIN!
I can do this and WILL DO THIS! I have to remind myself that I want to live past 65 yrs old!
Here's to a new day!

Treat yourself to the luxury of putting good fuel in your body - kind of like putting in premium instead of unleaded gas in your car. It sounds like you have a plan - remember those off limit treats only give you momentary satisfaction - eating healthy provides you satisfaction for life!
