Honestly's Journal, 01 May 2012

I have been sick for 4 days. Just been sitting around, sleeping and eating, ALOT. Feeling better today and must stop the madness! I managed to force myself to the gym yesturday and did get a moderate work-out in. Couldn't force myself today. I don't understand whats happening. I do like going to the gym. I could not make myself go this morning. After a lazy weekend full of food I really need to re-group. I'm still feeling a little sluggish but need to get moving again. I have a full day ahead so it's doubtfull I will get to the gym. Hopefully I can get in a bike ride or walk/run later. My energy level is so low right now. Trying hard to not wig out over this. Initially I told myself that I have probably gained muscle. I have increased the weights for my conditioning exercises. My clothes are fitting fine, I don't feel like I've gained, it must be muscle right? Not believing that today. I think I heard the scale laughing at me this morning. Did not expect a little cold to mess me up like this. A great opportunity to learn something from this. I have gotten too comfortable and really need to re-committ. My goal is too close to self sabatoge(sp). With my goal closer than it ever has been. It is going to get harder. I need to get my head in a place where it is ready to take on the challenges that face me. Attitude is more than half the battle I believe. Will have to find some quiet time today to get head in the right place and have a little talk with myself. I am getting too comfortable with where I am now. I do not want to settle. I want to go the distance. Fingers crossed. Time to really dig deep. I can. Believe.

I am sorry you are feeling ill. Nothing worse than a spring or summer cold. Your right attitude is more than half the battle. You can do this. Youve done it before and not so long ago. Where your mind leads your body will follow. Feel better.
