Well, today marks 12 weeks into this journey and I have officially reached the 30 lbs lost as of this morning. I always forget to take those scale photos, but that would have gone so great with this post. Ha! I was actually very shocked as I have struggled immensely this week to stay below 2000 calories. I have just been in a snacky, craving mood. I had a small DQ blizzard Wednesday night and then participated in "popcorn Thursday" at work yesterday. I was thrilled to see 3 lbs down this week after last week's stand-still, but definitely shocked. Hoping to see the 150's next week (or the week after... after all, it is going to be Thanksgiving week). I haven't seen that on a scale in well over 2 years... I won't be home or have access to a scale on my regular Friday AM weigh-in, so weigh-in will come Sunday morning next week. Wish me luck as we are traveling for Thanksgiving, so fast food and Thanksgiving feasts are in my near future.
