mars2kids's Journal, 18 April 2012

My puppy woke me up last night around 2 then didn't want to go to sleep until around 3, so that meant I was up too. So, this morning I didn't get up at 5 to do my workout because I thought that being awake at work was probably pretty important. I would like to get my workout in this evening, even a short one would be good, but I'm not functioning well today. Being tired, with achy knees, and a headache are not good for motivation. My hubby is supposed to take puppy duty tonight, so hopefully if I get some sleep I'll be ready for my workout in the morning. I will eat better today, and we'll see about the workout tonight. Maybe I'll take the puppy for a long walk, so he's worn out at bedtime.

Walk is a great idea! Nothing like puppy training! What kind? I LOVE DOGS!

How old is the puppy? I have one that is just a year old and she does the same thing to me. Wants to play if she's been crated too long during the day. :( I love her, but it makes for a long day at work if you don't get the sleep you need!

He's a lab/corgi/australian shepherd (and I don't know what else) mix. We adopted him from the local humane society. He is about 2 1/2 months and really wanting to chew, especially on people. I'm hoping he'll get into a good routine and eventually won't want to wake up and play in the middle of the night. It took our other dog at least a few weeks to get into a good routine, sigh.
