Honestly's Journal, 17 April 2012

Ok, I'm back on track! Stumbled quite a bit since Easter. I know I gained a "few" pounds too but managed to take them off, AGAIN, before my weight-in. Did not want record of those pounds. I really struggled with making poor choices for a few days. Honestly it wasn't a struggle making those poor choices, the struggle was in righting the ship. I feel confident I'm back on track with my head screwed on straight and committed to success. It surprises me that I enjoy going to the gym every morning. Sure sign of growth for me. I feel so much better too. Today I am sitting 25lbs away from my drivers license weight. It always amazed me that the DMV allowed me get away with that weight on my licenss. One look at me they knew it was a bold faced lie! Often wondered if they got a good laugh once I left after re-newing my license. I used to say that I would look pretty good if I actually weighted what it said I did. I will get back to you in 25lbs and let you know. That is exciting. 25pounds from my drivers license. Yippee!! Already it's pretty cool to see that I only have 10pounds til I reach my original goal. Wow. I have come along way. I find it truly remarkable what has happened in 7 short months. It is even more remarkable what the good Lord can do and has done in my life. Last August I had no idea, plan or notion to lose weight. Here I sit today 97lbs lighter. I could not be happier. Excited too about the next 5months. "I'm not as good as I'm gonna get but I'm better than I used to be."
