Hello all, I'm new here and I'm sure I'm one of the only men on this site (just like at LAWL).

I know that big people lose quickly and men lose quicker than women. Still, I'm having fun with this plan. I weigh in tonight and hopefully I'll surpass the 25 pound mark. Not bad for only starting in November.

I went in on 12/31 and was up a pound. Why is it that every time I weigh in on a Monday, my weight has increased? I usually go back in on Wed or Thurs and I'm down big time.

Maybe I should stop going in on Mondays...

Hi, welcome to the site, good luck with your weightloss efforts. I found that whenever I went in on a monday i had always gained as well, my counsellor said that's probably because it's the weekend & you are less active if not at work, & maybe you let your guard down a little & eat a bit more. Either way I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you go down again. Have a great 2008 beanie
