Honestly's Journal, 10 April 2012

When I fall off "the wagon", I fall hard! This type of accident should require an emergency room visit. But, as they say; "you can't fix stupid". Once again I opened the door a crack for the holiday and the darn door swung wide open, for two days! I suppose my biggest frustration is that I am such a slow learner. I did the same dang thing at Christmas. Second frustration, lossing the same damn pounds over again. That just stinks. Once I lose the lbs I want to keep them off! Who doesn't. I didn't do terrible on Easter. More calories than normal but made pretty good choices. We hosted it at our house and I sent home as much left over's as I could. Especially the desserts,(my downfall). We had 28 people for dinner. Lots of food. It was all the wine I drank Sunday that hurt me. Monday, I was out of controll. Eating sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. UGH! Intended to re-group today til I had two pieces of lemon poppy seed bread. Did not realize they were sooo high in calories. I am so close to my Easter goal and general weight goal that I have to ask myself; are you trying to sabotage this? I don't believe that I am but stupidity seems the only other alternative. I've been doing too good to let old habits rear their ugly head. I want to keep my motion going in the forward direction! I WILL recover. I've just added time onto the process. Hope you're grading on the curve.
