mmmm.chicken alfredo sounds good :) maybe you could get the chicken marsala? its 700 calories less than the alfredo :) :) and its sooooo yummy! just a thought ;) keep up the good work chica!  

oh. ps... Rigo's dr's office sent us home with some healthy recipes that he can eat during this post op stage... there's a recipe for "alfredo" sauce in there, but its made out of silken tofu and parmesan cheese. I'm going to make it this weekend and I'll let you know how it tastes! :) Have you ever heard of "spaghetti squash"? you cook the squash, and when its done, it comes apart in "spaghetti" like strands,and has the same texture as pasta and you serve pasta sauce or alfredo over it. yummy! 

I think it's a good idea to go for it, but make sure you account for the calories. This way you don't feel deprived and stay satisfied because you got to have some yummy food. And I also agree that looking up the caloric values of the restaurant foods can be very eye-opening. I found out once that my favorite dessert from the PJ's Brewery (apple Crisp) was almost 2000 calories. That's just dessert, not the whole meal. Needless to say, makes you think twice before ordering it, right?
