Just 3 days into tracking my food again and already I can see why I was having trouble losing weight.
It was 10 or 10:30 tonight and I was really wanting to eat some of the homemade cookies my husband's grandma made us. But I wasn't sure if I wanted a cookie or a mini Reese's cup.
It was getting overwhelming (in fact, I still kind of want to eat it).. so I told myself that if I entered in my food for the day and had any calories left over, I could have a cookie or a peanut butter cup.
Surprise! I was at 99% of my daily allotment already. Since the last two days had been "over" days, I couldn't make any excuses. Besides - even as I still want some sugary treats, I know I'm not hungry at all. My stomach is full from a delicious dinner, which already included 3 mini Reese's.
It's definitely easy to go overboard in a day just because you want that little extra sweetness. Gotta keep working on that!
