At first, I was a bit taken back by how public this all is (I know, you can change your settings), but then I realized two major benefits: I can't hide (or justify or cave or binge or give up) without someone knowing. Accountability is something I've been lacking. Secondly, I can gain wisdom from others. I was just randomly reading some posts when I read someone's that said, "I just reached my intermediate goal!" . Intermediate goal? You mean I don't have to have my end goal in sight yet?! Brilliant! Going to make an intermediate goal right now....let's see....I'm 156 right now, lets go for 154 by next weekend. Anything beyond that is officially off my radar. Aaaaahhhhhh.....that's much better:)
