Hellbusch's Journal, 22 March 2012

Well it has been a while. I had started my weight journey last year and shortly after found out I was expecting. It is now a month after I have delivered a beautiful baby girl. I have already lost 30+ pounds thanks to a 9 lb 5 oz. baby and breast feeding for a month. Unfortunately I am done breatfeeding not by choice and have to start getting into a routine again. I have the next 5-6 weeks off at home to get started with no excuses. New weight goal is 145 lbs by the end of July.

I haven't quite figured out if I am going to use the WW diet yet. I am contemplating if I want to journal and count points or just follow a healthy portion controlled diet.
174.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 44.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Diet Calendar Entry for 22 March 2012:
375 kcal Fat: 17.00g | Prot: 14.00g | Carb: 44.00g.   Breakfast: Instant Breakfast - Milk Chocolate. more...

Hi. I tried a journal a couple years ago and I ended up giving up, but I have gained so much in the last couple years and when I saw myself in a mirror when trying on pants, I realized I needed to start my journal and stick with it this time. I can't afford any programs so I just write in my journal, count calories, and make sure I walk every day. I have missed my walks this morning and yesterday morning because of migraines, but normally I walk 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 miles every morning. They give me energy and help me become motivated for the day. I started getting up at 6:30 and staying up all day. I start my walks about 8 am when the kids have school and 7 am when they don't. I love seeing the sunrise in the morning. I know you don't know me, but I thought I would share what I do. I lost 6 pounds in one week just from watching my calories and taking my morning walks. Good luck! :-)
