Okay so I lost 3 lbs this week and I know any loss is good, but I have to say I can't help but be a little disappointed that it wasn't more. I would really like to lose 5-8 lbs/week.
I am going to try and adjust a few things and increase my exercise and see if that helps to obtain greater results.
I really want this weight off by Sept.

Next Goal: 10-15 lbs more by 3/30

Don't get discouraged. 3 pounds in a week is great. We'd all like to lose 8 pounds a week - but that's not happening any time soon - if it did, there wouldn't be many of us on here! Every week will be different - some weeks you will lose more, others less, sometimes none and occasionally you may add a pound. You have to look long term. Keep your goal in sight. Forgive yourself for a bad week - celebrate a good one. Have you taken measurements? - sometimes you will see inch loss, even though it does not register on the scale. Keep too tight clothes nearby and try them on every once in a while - there's nothing more motivating than being able to zip up a pair of pants that you could not close before! If you haven't started exercising - start - even just walking. if you are already exercising - try something new. Keep track of what you do and it will help you stay the course. I wish I had lost 3 pounds this week! :)

Thanks mlb98, I know your right, its just having so much to lose the more I can take off each week gets me that much closer. I am exercising already, but I am going to change up the routine a bit and increase it in hopes to see more results. I have not taken my measurments, been meaning too, but have forgotten. I'm going to do that tomorrow morning. As for you, your doing great, I glanced at your profile and you have already lost over 20lbs, and only have a few more to go. The weight loss does slow down the closer we get to our goal weight. So keep it up, your almost there. :-)
