Well, I've been busy and I had taken some time off from going to the gym. Sometimes you get a little burned out...but I've gone back again this week. I did notice that I did not gain very much but the weight that I did gain was not so much from not going to the gym but more from over indulging in things not on my usual list. Items such as wine, a little bread, wine, dessert, wine, a wonderful pomagranite (sp?) martini, another dessert and so on. I only gained two pounds and the fact that I've already lost it from last week, tells me I'm doing something right. I know the gym is good cardio for your heart and helps tone your body, but as a fat burner or weight reducer I've been finding that if I just eat the right foods on this diet, I lose whether I go to the gym or not. Its strange. I still think of that article that Info gave me a while back that said you can basically run your ass off, but that doesnt' guarantee wieght loss...it was what you put in your mouth...and I've been finding thats very true. I feel great if I do 40 minutes of cardio and a couple of weight machines, but I no longer feel HORRIBLE if I skip the gym or I'm too tired to do another 20 minutes on the treadmill. I'm still losing whether or not I stay a little longer on the machine.

Anyway, hope everyone had a great T-day. My office party is this weekend and I don't think there will be alot for me to eat...I stay away from all carbs and I don't like dips (hate sour cream!)so we'll have to see. I'm hoping for a few veggies...We're going to my boss' house and I heard they're only serving cheapie apps (that's what the boss' wife said...I am not making this up!)fun fun fun! My sister is going to call me around 9:30 so that I can get out of it!lol. Obvious? oh well...I'll leave early and get some decent dinner with the BF and avoid the Kariokee(sp?) that I've heard they're setting up! Lord help me!
