Sometimes reality just sucks. I keep a second home in fantasy land. I will take the deed to that property with me to my grave. So, I'm feeling pretty sassy in my 75lb lighter frame. That is a hugh number and I feel great. I'm tucking in my shirts, wearing belts and I may have even strutted around a couple times. Then...I try on new clothes. UGH. Seriously, I do not want X's anywhere on my labels. I don't want to see numbers before those X's. Yes, I have body image issues. I think my body is better looking than it actually is! Dang. I realise that from where I was, this is great. From where I should/need to be, I am indeed still a plus size gal. Crap. I prefer my doses of reality in smaller bites. Still, I choose to be excited about summer. Skin will be exposed! Arms, legs and a little clevage. Today I will keep covered up. It is in everyones best interest. I will keep reality at an arms lenght and my spirits up. Life is good.
