The scales are not okay today. I am getting to the point that I am not really trying on my diet anymore. I am going to try to cut back a lot and such, today I ran out of the house without eating and am on campus all day till 300.. I am going to be starving if I dont eat soon... Oh well. I want to get back to my atkins diet whenever I run out of crappy food at my house. I am just not currently in the position to go and buy all atkins foods right now. I am about flat broke.

Oy Mate!.....As you know our challenge is not a diet per say...Its all about monitoring our intake so we can make healthy adjustments.. To that end there is no need to buy special food. Believe me I know what its like being broke and not having $ for quality food all the time being in the construction industry. Its all in your will power to abstain to just one portion or reduced portion no mater what it is were eating..Thats the tough part..Having "Correct food" is not going to help us succeed 100% with that....Its a mind set...Its your individual and our collective monster that we all need to face. Keep honest with your daily tracking...Keep honest with not cheating or hiding and keep honest to the daily RDI you have set for yourself and you WILL see success...it will not be as fast as you want it to be but it will happen! I agree with Cap! If you track what you each and your weight loss you will see some foods will help you lose and others wont. Everybody is different. That's why you should never diet but make lifestyle changes. Much healthier in the long run. I think there are a lot out there who can say they dont really have the money to get on this or that "special" diet. And you should never spend it if you can't also put a bit into your savings account. Just mind what you eat. Bring homemade granola with you for that quick pick-me-up. Making from scratch is cheaper than buying store bought prepackaged foods that you have no idea what preservatives they use (not that I dont eat the yummy prepackaged stuff LOL)
