So I am back for good I am hoping. Still can't afford to go to meetings, therefore I am going to do it on here. I just need someone to encourage me and want to hear my weight loss journey. I have 31 lbs I have to lose or I should say shed because after I lose this, I don't want to find it back. I was just figuring out my points and discovered that as of April 10th, no matter what I lose another point to eat, so I have to get down before then, so I won't feel so deprived. lol. I think I am going to add some others who are on Weight watchers so that I can get the encouragement that I need. In a way, I am also hoping to hear that my extra testosterone is playing a part in my weight, that it isn't all me just eating wrong. I might find out on the 18th. My clothes aren't fitting anymore so it is time. I just hope that I can stay with it at work, I might just have to becareful of what we choose to eat at work when we decide to sample food for our meal. I know L is good at making healthy choices, I am just hope it can stay that way.

Tammy I do hear you. I do not have a meeting place close so after going I have been following it at home. For your work lunches the weight watchers and lean cuisine meals are great and very affordable. I have recently got on kick to eat 3 meals a week of 4 oz of Tillapia (I microwave so it is quick and easy) with 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese and a whole can of green beens. The green beens are free so eat the whole can if you need to feel full. This is actually a great meal for lunch too. Do NOT feel frustrated that you may have to cook one meal for you and something else for the family. You deserve the extra pampering.

With WW's I have found there are quite a few "free" foods with 0 points - these really help me to control my hunger. Some examples are: 1. you can eat 1 orange a day and don't have to count it 2. Fiber One yogurt - 1 container has 0 points! But I like to put it over a bowl of blueberries or other berries - it is only 1 point and very filling 3. Progresso light soups some are 0 points and some are 1 point per serving 4. WW Vegetable soup recipes with 0 points I like the tillapia also - and one way that you and your family might like it is to brown it in a little olive oil (I use 1/2 tsp per serving = 1 pt) and then I put it in an oven-proof serving platter and sprinkle it with a little freshly ground parmesan cheese and sliced almonds. It is so yummy!
