Today's food diary won't be accurate because I don't know how to add a portion of a "Favorite Meal". No way I'm eating 8 oz. of cream cheese for lunch! LOL! Tomorrow is my birthday! Yay! Sad I gained that weight during TOM and toward the end of the month when I didn't have healthy food options. So friggin ticked off! I was at 219 before all that went down, and I would have made it to my goal of 215 for my birthday! I'm like- can 8 pounds just magically drop off by tomorrow? Dagnamit! Inches lost are about the same- not really proud of it either. Tomorrow is also my one month at Curves, and I've worked out every week at least 4 days a week if not 5 and all I got out of it was great calorie burn #'s, maybe 7-7.5 inches lost off my body and a measly 4-5 pound loss! I just don't get it because everybody else's weight is just falling off of them. Here on FS, I mean. I think I'm going to watch my carb intake more closely. Did a macronutrient thing again and my protein is supposed to be at 40%! Wow! My fat has been up in like 50% range and while some people are fine with that because it's healthier fats, I still don't lie mine to be that high. So anyway, gonna play around with a non-Atkins low carb approach.

Everyone is healthy in the house once again so that's good news! Summer went pee pee in the big girl potty yesterday! So proud of her! She even sat there for like 10 minutes, reading books, until she did it!

Off to go get Summer ready for daycare and myself ready to go workout. Didn't get to go yesterday. My back has been killing me- went to a Chiropractor and am working on some stretches, sleep positions, etc. Basically, everything is squished back there. Plus, I already knew that (I forget what it is medically) but I have a vertibrae towards my tailbone that is mis-alligned and will never go back so that's probably adding to it. Then, my knees were killing me too and he said I need to quit the jogging for right now. Darn!

Ok- the Bug is calling me so I had better get going! Have a good day ya'll!

"maybe 7-7.5 inches lost off my body and a measly 4-5 pound loss!" Seriously? Quit being so hard on yourself. You have lost weight! Re low-carb - give South Beach a try.

For the food diary - If your meal is cream cheese, and you only ate 2 oz of the 8 oz of cream cheese, all you do is enter 1/4 (or 25%) for the quantity. Don't worry - you'll get this! As for the fat, remember healthy fat (olive, nut, & fish oil, etc.) is good for your heart and joints and will help you lose faster. The weight we've been carrying around does us no good.

I'm very hard on myself jimmie- who I am in nature, but I agree---- I need to let go of that some because it tends to get me down too much. I've given South Beach a try in the past and didn't like it. Maybe because all of their recipes sounded like I needed $1,000/mnth to spend on food- I don't know. I may research the "concept" and see what I think as it has been a long time. I don't follow any diet in particular so, thanks for the advice- I will see what the net has to say about South Beach and go from there.
