I decided that I am on a mission to look into and try as many different diets as possible. I know it may not be the way to lose the most weight the fastest, but I really want to discover the truth. I'm wondering if having this goal in mind rather than just trying to lose the pounds will help keep me motivated and engaged. It's awakened the scientist in me (who has been asleep for quite some time at this point). It will make the "failures" be more of a learning experience and be just as valuable (data wise) as success. I plan to dedicate this year into investigating different diets. If I still feel this burning to learn and research this, then I might do exercise programs next year. Sometimes doing something for the sake of learning something new makes it more worth it than for more trivial reasons.
