Day 10, Advocare 24 Day Challenge

Last day of the cleanse phase. Can't say I'm disappointed about being done with the fiber drink. LOL Haven't made a journal update in a few days, but overall things have been going well.

I haven't had too many problems sticking to the program. (There have been a few minor cheats here and there, but even the minor splurges were way better choices than what I would have used as a splurge before.)

Curious to see how the remaining 14 days will go, now that the 10 day cleanse phase is over. Looking at the plan, it would appear that the first 10 days should have been the hardest. However, I haven't felt at any point that this has been "hard" so far - hoping that the next 14 days go the same way.

Oh...some good news. My favorite pair of jeans had been getting a little snug in the waist and thigh. However, I was able to comfortably wear them roller skating with my daughter over the weekend. Now that's measurable progress. :)

Can I ask what sort of diet are you following? The words 'fiber' + 'drink' together is...curious! haha. Thanks for your comment about roasted broccoli. I will have to try this next weekend. You lost several pounds in just a few days. Wow. I'm impressed. You are following a very restrictive diet!

I think that most of the weight at the beginning was that one-time initial water weight loss, which has tapered off a little. If you look at the entire 3 weeks total, it is averaging out to be more reasonable. Honestly, I don't feel restricted or deprived at all - if I'm hungry, I eat something. (I'm just cautious about what that "something" is.) :) Right now, I'm on a 24 day challenge to jump start my weight loss. That part will be over Monday, and then I'll just keep following good eating habits. But the challenge was definitely a good kickstart. If you want, I can give you more specifics on the challenge part. (Getting back to work right now, but I can type it out later.) Hope the broccoli worked out good for you!
