Hey Buffy - I think you might have touched on something here - I have found that in the last few years of losing weight and getting my eating healthy and in order - my interest in grocery shopping has really diminished, to the point where it is now a chore that I just get done. Perhaps it is now that I finally do not see food as a "treat" the joy of going grocery shopping has left me and now falls into the same category as ironing.

Ahhh the sun does make a big difference in our lives..The gloom of

issues..if you know what I mean..I hate to grocery shop..as afterward
I still have no idea what to fix for supper..LOL..Have a great Wed..{{{HUGS}}}...:O)

Tracy - Yes - right now I'm committed to a very basic diet (after the Christmas/Birthday fiasco) so the "real me" is not thrilled about buying any more lettuce!

Ha Ha! Come out of the closet Buffy! Ya can't see the sun in there anywhere! Your weight is coming back down and so is mine .... we both went a tad wild during Christmas/New Years (plus some). The weight is coming off again for us both. The sun shall shine for us again! :)
((((Hugs!!!!))))

Okay here is what we are going to do ... for our "Limbo in 2012" aka "Redo in 2012" aka "How Low Can You Go".... our first mini challenge IS: lose 10 lbs in 10 weeks. ( Hee! Hee!)

We can use the our present weight as our start weight. (Mine is 207.8) Are you ready to do this, partner?

Mom2Boxers - Yes! I was still just shy of 165 this morning. I have been in the 60's (seems like) forever and want to get to 159 ASAP. It will be the first time I've visited the 50's this decade!

I haven't seen Onederland in a long time either... I want to be under 200 again, so "Let the games begin......"! Going to use my elliptical 3 times a week ... starting at 20 minutes this week and then upping it to 5 times a week and 30 minutes over the next 10 weeks challenge. How are you going to start?

Mom2Boxers - I just weighed in so will have documentation. I did not exercise last night so will have to make up for lost time tonight. GAME ON!

Mom2Boxers - PS - I just read (above) comment 10 pounds in 10 weeks. I like that - it is very sane and reasonable (for us old ladies).

Sorry about the rain! We had to deal with it too today. Glad you got your shopping done...a necessary evil. Yeah! The sun! I too function better when the sun shines ... Or the moon! ;-) I can't get out of the 160s either...quite stuck but ready to move on! I'll probably do back flips when I get to 159! A happy dance moment! Wish you much success dropping to the next decade! It will happen! Hugs!

Buffy our number one exercise is to train our minds. Once our minds are fit our bodies will follow. Glad you did your weigh in today. Let's keep tabs on each other every day. I need a push sometimes in the right direction... LOL! (Sometimes my mind is willing but my body, isn't). ;)

Buffy, are your salads boring??!! LOL! Look for some exotic lettuce to change up the colors and textures. Around here, it's called Artisan Lettuce, but it's really just a container of 4 small heads of "exotic" lettuce....purple leaves, interesting leaf shapes, etc. I tell you....it really makes the same ol' salad into something that would be served as an entree at a restaurant.

Happy Thursday...I missed you yesterday. Happy to hear you have come out of the closet & are filling the cupboards....yummy salads! Actually, I do like salads with real dressings! Lots of ways to jazz them up & then they are not "diet" anymore!
