W2W's Journal, 06 January 2012

Thanks for the support and yes I am feeling much better, though I am still eating way to much fat and carbs. I know that if I'm going to have a sandwich I shouldn't have chips but I stopped at the store and got them anyway. Also I knew I was going to get cookies. It is for these reasons that I am only eating one meal a day. I have got to learn to understand that cravings do not have to be indulged and that if I just face them down with the help of Jesus that they will pass and I will be okay. I have been taking the stairs at work and everyone has noticed and others who could stand to lose a few pounds have started taking them as well. I feel a little sluggish and a bit out of sort..but I'm okay. Today is Friday and we always order greasy subs on Friday. I am standing firm and my co-workers are very supportive. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Be encouraged.

Good to see yoou are taking the stairs, awesome! You need to eat more than 1 meal or your body is just going to store it because it's starving. What about trying some meal planning like make turkey chili for a few days, there is a super easy one you just buy the bag and add the meat. You are better than Burger King, you can do all things who Christ who strenghtens you!!!! You need a mental motto like "nothing tastes as good as thin feels..." or something like this when you are feeling weak. You can do it!!

Happy to hear your feeling better. What about having a Protein Meal Replacement bar for the 2 meals you've been skipping? Your body needs fuel to keep your focus and energy going. God is working in and through you. Taking the stairs not only is going to help you, but you are setting an example to your coworkers and helping them have a better quality of life as well.
