Still putting away Christmas crap. Almost there, though... finally. I'm in the process of taking the lights off the tree and dismantling the tree. I decided before I started that I'd make a list of all the lights I'll need for next year, based on whether there are at least 10% of the lights out. Well crap, I'm on the 10th strand of 100 and only 1 strand has all the lights working!

..... much, much later. Finished taking down the tree and packing it up. Well, looks like I need a minimum of 10 strands of lights for next year and up to 17 strands. I just don't know how much time I want to invest in replacing bulbs. I had decided that if a strand of 100 lights had ten lights out - it needs to be replaced. Oh my. I may just change my mind on that when faced with paying a couple hundred dollars for new lights! I'd thought about switching to the LED's but wow, that would be a lot of money! We'll see.

Anyway, most of the Christmas stuff is now packed away and much of it put on the garage shelves, too. Been a long day - no workout to speak of, but I'm going to count this as my workout.

Wow, thats alot of lights..how tall is your tree?? Ten foot??? Course my tree was 4 foot tall...so I didn't have that many to put up with..LOL...I used to have a 6 foot one so had lots of lights and ornaments...I also used to have a village and out side everything..No one comes here any more so I do as little as possible and still be festive....I would count that as a good work out..it takes time and energy to undo.. I checked out the LED's too..Yowza are they pricey.. Too exspensive for my little 4 footer...Well talk soon girl have a great evening...Love :O)

Yep, it's a 10' tree. Once in a while my husband mentions wanting a 12' tree and I think... uh-uh! That's a lot of decorating and undecorating! lol... I call it my 2,000 points of light! I think we heat the main floor with our tree throughout Dec.! Hope you're having a great evening. Things are calm here. Just gave myself a microdermabrasion treatment, a photon treatment and the scrubber treatment (great hubby - got me a professional 5 in 1 microdermabrasion machine for Christmas! Gotta love this man! :D) and I'm feeling softer and smoother already!

D, I would call that a pretty darned good workout!!! That's a lot of lights and decorations, my friend! We still have to get the lights off the gutters and off from around the windows. We use the C7 and C9 bulbs outside. I think if you need new lights for next year, you should check for them now, as they will probably be really inexpensive with the after Christmas sales...of course they may all be gone already!! I use an exfoliating glove and sugar scrub for my face....lol! Have a great Friday, my wonderful friend!! Love you! <3<3

Hi S - turns out you're right - burned 2700 calories yesterday. :D Oh, I did check after Christmas for lights and couldn't find ANY. Another woman I talked to said the same thing. Too bad - that's how I've typically stocked up on things like that. :( Do you make your own sugar scrub or buy one? I've heard great things about them but haven't tried them. Let me know when you get a chance. Love you, too!
