Las Vegas Linda's Journal, 30 December 2016

Ugh!!! It has been one Christmas celebration after another with wine, great food, and fabulous desserts. Ridiculous to think I could restart my program in the middle of all this. I have forgiven myself my transgressions and have one more party to get through. On January 1st I am going to do a complete restart. Not sure if that wipes out my previous records, but I will take a screen shot just in case. There will be no looking back or commiserating over what I could have or should have done in the past. I will start 2017 with a completely fresh slate and take it from there. I will not look at that day's sign in weight as either a loss (fat chance lol) or a gain. It will simply be my starting point. I am quite psyched up about it. The hard part will be finding time for exercise since my contract job starts on 1/17 and I will be tied to my computer from 8a-5p every day. Perhaps a 10-15 minute walk every hour or two and I can hop on my rower during any lulls in work or do stretches throughout the day. Then maybe after dinner one of my workout tapes. Anything to keep me moving and not just sitting all day long or else that weight will come off very slowly. Anyway, good luck to everyone with any New Year's resolutions you might be making. Let's all be victorious this year!!!

There are 20 days until your job starts and you are tied to your computer. I see many people walking during their lunch time. Weight Watchers recommends you park as far away from work or shopping as you can. In the meantime, enjoy your freedom.

Oh I will be exercising before my job starts for sure and will try to make the most of that time. I will also have the weekends to do a little more. Even if I have to work a little later to make up the time, I intend to get up and get away from the computer every hour or so. It just isn't good to sit for all those hours without moving :)

Good idea; I will get up and get away from the computer e ery hour, too. I will be thinking of you. I don't think sitting is good for mobility, bones and memory either;)
