Today it starts, day one of the rest of my life. I am currently 223lbs, I have decided it's time for a change. My weight is out of control. After researching different programs, pills, and quick fixes, I have chosen intermittent fasting as the way to go for me. There are 5 different methods and the one I felt best for me, my lifestyle, and my goals is known as updown.
The goal for me is to consume 1200-1500 calories in a 6-8hr period on an up day then go 18-24 hours consuming 300-500 calories. Ironically I actually did this 10yrs ago and didn't even realize it was a thing! If followed properly I could lose 2-3lbs a week, putting me at my goal weight by my 39th birthday in July!
