Hi all.

Its been well over a month since i last posted. I've been all over the place with life and work. I have been working with a Holistic Medical Doctor for the past couple months. Recently I have been waiting for all my test results just to find out from my doctor that I have symptoms of PCOS which she commonly sees in woman after their 30s. My hormones are unbalanced which she says could be a big reason why I have been battling my weight for so long. It's bad and good news.
Bad because: It might take me months to fix my hormones and get on track
Good news: I actually found out what could be the cause. I have an answer

Its stressful honestly. I feel like I am trapped. This week has been rough. I have school and been working late which means no time to cook and late nights. All of this not good for my current state regardless. My doctor suggests meditation, yoga and walking. Limit weight training 1 time a week until I get my stress levels down.

Also I need to avoid all grains and gluten. This week has been though with this. I am going to better prepare to avoid grains all together to get my health back. Keep red meat 2 times a week and eat eggs 3 times a week max.

I need to get more veggies in my diet and more fish. This has been difficult but working towards what I need to do to fix myself

@yosoyollie thank you for this! My doctor also suggests to not count carbs/calories right now. Any added stress wont help me in the process of getting my hormones back in balance. She wants me to focus on eating whole healthy foods and getting in my veggies and fruits. I find when I add too much stress to the diet thing, or freak out over my carbs. I end up shutting down and bingeing. I dont want to go through that toxic cycle right now. So I am going to focus on getting better. Once I am back in balance I can play more with macros. But with my life right now. I find that focusing on eating healthy veggies, fruits and meats is enough for me. Also without all the stress of counting macros...i find I am eating less because I am not being so obsessive about food. Funny how that works huh?
