Almost 2 weeks ago, I started a pretty extreme diet. It is the diet Penn Jillette used to lose over 100lbs in a pretty short time. It has also been referred to as Penn's Potato Diet. The diet starts with 2 weeks of potatoes only. Nothing on them, just potatoes. This helps reset your taste buds and helps you transition into a more vegan diet. I am almost done with my 2 weeks of potatoes. (which I am beyond happy about) I have had great results so far. I've lost 16lbs so far. I have also noticed some pretty good health benefits. I'm not having to get up and pee several times a night anymore and I am feeling overall better everyday. So far, this has been a great choice for me! :)

You will feel really great when you start your variety vegan diet than! I am mostly vegan, and the more days I go without dairy ( cheese is pretty much my only cheat ) the better I feel, too. Plus, it got rid of my adult acne.

I am really looking forward to it! Needless to say, 2 weeks of potatoes only has not been the easiest. I'm sick of them. lol Tomorrow is my last day of potatoes and then I will start eating vegan. I'm so excited to have other foods again and to try new recipes! :D
