Gearing up for a fast on Monday. I am hoping to get past day 3. It's been super hard getting out of the 40th hour of fasting. I did a fat fast Monday-Wednesday and lost a few lbs. I have four days off of that restricted diet, but am continuing to daily IF for 20 hours. I'm getting used to that empty hunger feeling. But seems like my body is responding to the daily IF. This is super.
Hubs promised to water fast as long as I fast so I am shooting for four days. I haven't been able to make it that far yet. This fast I will use unsweetened carbonated water to try and get me over the hardest day(s) of the fast. If I can make it beyond the hardest part I will extend my fast joyfully.
I'm excited. I am happy I'm not 230 anymore. Regaining 30 lbs was hard to see happen, but I am completely ready and present to lose again. I'm hoping for a successful extended fast. :)

Good luck with the fast! Remember to keep you electrolytes up. I bonked at 91 hours last time because of not paying attention to them.

I know how you feel regaining, I did the same and it makes you feel terrible but it is a hard lesson learned, we go forward and knowing what can and did happen we hopefully will not make the same mistake again... lets do it!

Thanks for the warm comments and support. MsKestrela How do you replenish electrolytes on a water fast?

You can use the MIO Electrolyte drops in water, or you can add just a pinch each of, Himalayan Pink Salt, baking soda and No-Salt (potassium chloride) to each bottle of water.
