I had a really good afternoon with my daughter and grandbaby. I took her to lunch at a local vietnamese restaurant and then we went to kmart so I could pick up some spare bottles and a couple of needed baby blankets. Well, there goes the budget but it's worth it (smiles).
It's hard to say goodbye when we know she's going to pay dearly for spending time with me. Her soon to be ex really gives her trouble at home about me. It's an impossible situation. He even checks her phone to see if she's called me. She's just waiting for her job to start so she can get a check or two before she moves out. She still has a month left on the lease she's in.
I'm not sure how to enter what I had for lunch but it was real yummy especially with the chili paste I added lol. Checked my sugar when I got home and it's dandy. I did splurge and bought Lilly a special dress for the holidays. It was on sale. Gotta have pics of this event ya know!
Soon... things will be much better for everyone.

Awww Ruby, sounds like your world is getting better and better..Hope it
stays in that direction....I remember seeing clothes for my niece and just had to get them for her...I have always felt more like a grandma
instead of an Aunt as my baby sister is 10 years younger and had my
sweet Angela later in life...I am smiling about you getting a special
dress for the holidays as I can just see you smiling picking it out..

Ruby, I'm sorry to hear about your SonIL. What an awful situation. I had to have a restraining order put out for my youngest daughter's boy friend years ago. His whole family was trouble. I can relate. I'm happy to know that situation is soon to be remedied and I can't wait to see Lilly in her new dress! You have a great weekend too and I'm sending hugs!

Change is good and helps us stay young. When your daughter changes her living arrangements everyone will be happier. Hope you will be able to spent the holidays with her and Lilly.

I have been through a lot of what you are going through with bad ex's with my daughter (she's had a couple) but I know things will get better for everyone. Life if full of challenges... just meet them head on and keep going. I am so pleased to hear about your BS. I seem to keep mine around 116 right now. Working on the weight will help me too, I hope. HAGD!
