A happy Tuesday to our FatSecret community! Today, my Cocker, Buddy, is having surgery to remove tumors from around his head. We must be crazy to do this for a dog in his last couple of years of life. We have no children, so these are them. My tip today will be of interest. It is a bit overcast today, but I am sure it will get hot. Have a great day, everyone!

There really is a book called Grain Brain BTW, Warren. Great read, if you haven't read it.

So many wonderful comments, I will say thanks to all of you, but @ Mom2Boxers, the last picture is to advocate for Pitbulls, that they are wonderful, loving dogs, and only humans make them different than that. We are HUGE animal advocates, and animals are fighting for their lives like never before. It is no worthwhile planet without them.

Warren, I love you for that. My husband and I rescued Boxers for years but as years gain on us, we can only handle the two we have. They are a Boxer/Pit bull mix. Best, loyal, unique dogs that ever owned us. :)

One of my friends had that most wonderful pitbull, and it really broke all my stereotypes of what kind of a dog they are.

Glad to hear buddy is doing well. Good job. I owned a German Rottweiler for six years and rescued a pit bull. The rott was the best dog ever and I mean ever. I lost her in the divorce I let her daddy keep her then find out a year later someone killed her. The pit bull was kind and loveable. I think he realized we had rescued him and he would always be greatful for that. He now has cancer I believe but yes, two dogs on the list of ferocious were the two gentle giants in my life 😔

So sad your Rottweiler was killed, and how was he killed?
