I am a little stressed about my best friend's wedding. I know I can't expect to look good after only ... what..... 12 days of dieting but I hope I don't look bad. Plus I am not a girly girl. I mean I am not butchy or anything but I usually just wash & dry my hair and go. I never... and I mean never syle my hair. I am terrible with a curling iron. I don't even own any type of hair devices other than my blow dryer. I am lucky that my hair has natural curl and usually looks like I fixed it even when I haven't but I am clueless about how to fix it for the wedding. I think I will pay a local salon to do it for me. Let me tell you as soon as it's over I am changing into a pair of jeans ASAP. I am doing really well on my diet. I had a low carb taco last night. It was so good. I am not as hungry as I used to be and it's getting easier. :)

Amanda, that is what I do with my hair....it is straight as a board, very fine, and even if I do anything with it...it is straight as a board! lol Good job with the food.

When you get your hair done, have a plan in mind. I also have curly hair. One year, I went to a dressy Christmas party and wanted something cool done with my hair. i went to a salon and paid them to do 'something; cool with it. When I walked out, my hair looked exactly how it looks when I do nothing to it but put gel in and scrunch dry it. The only different was that the had more product in it. They had spent a couple of hours doind what I do in 2 minutes. Don't let that happen to you :)

I get so many compliments on my hair as it is. So many people think I curl it every morning. No, I just blow it dry and the ends curl up. If I didnt blow it dry it's more curly, but not enough to scrunch up and look right. When I try to use a curling iron I get that bend or crimp on the end of my hair where the iron bent the hair over or when I use rollers LOL I end up with an afro! I am going to practice with a friend afer work tomorrow. She is loaning me her curling iron. :)
