so i'm getting my ass in gear. i'm trying to undo what i did over thanksgiving. i've gone running 3 times this week. 2 of those days i ran/walked 5 miles in 1 hour. i never knew i could do that.

it's funny because in high school i never ran. ever. i would walk with all the other girls and when the teacher asked why we weren't running, i remember goth girl danielle saying "i'm bleeding" and the teacher left us alone. anyways. i've only been running since the beginning of summer and i feel i've come so far and i still love to do it.

can anyone update me on how flex points work. i've pretty much had all my points for the day and it's not even 4 pm. this is what i get for waking up at 4am for work everyday. i eat a lot more. but i know i'll be hungry later and i want to still be able to eat.

You get 35 flex points a week. You can either eat them all in one day, split them up evenly and add an extra 5 points to each day, or split them up when you need them. Or, you can choose not to use them at all. However, it's 35 points A WEEK. They don't rollover like AT&T cell phone minutes. Use them or lose them! : ) Great job on the running. One of these days, when our schedules permit, we'll run together. I want a buddy who can go the distance!!!

lol. i loled when i read the "i'm bleeding part" awww i miss danielle. but that made me laugh mostly because of freakin smart ass teenagers. lol.

i actually read up on it, so tell me if i'm getting this right, every day we have a range of points, mine is 20-25. if i choose to eat only 20 a day i can bank those 5. and those five per day add to the flex points that i can use any time that week. i think i get it. sooo what about activity points?

i saw her a couple of times when i worked at jcpenny. she came in with erika. they were funny locas. i had physiology with them.

Yep, you got it. Activity points...I don't use them. I think you get like 1 point for every half hour of vigorous activity, which running definitely falls under. But it's just like a carrot they dangle in front of you to get you to exercise. I just use my flex points.
