Really enjoyed today walking around Alnwick. Its the sort of town that seems to be half asleep but then around a corner, it suddenly wakes up with beautiful gardens and a magnificent castle. Raided some bookshops for more Bernard Cornwell books and a few CDs for my collection.
This is our last night alone on holiday so its a dinner out with a carefully pre selected menu of good food and one treat. Hopefully the RDI wont be blown. Tomorrow my friends return home to Eyemouth so it will be dinner with them before homewards on Monday after a wonderful week away. A good rest and time to relax.
My next entry will be on my weigh in on Tuesday. Here's hoping and fingers Xd. Enjoy your weekend folks.

Lovely part of the country. I'm surprised you're not going to Scarborough tomorrow for the powerboat GP ... although it was cancelled today, they're hoping the swell will settle for tomorrow and they're planning a full programme
