So, I have been doing very well at not consuming sweets, breads, rice, starches of the likes. I have not had the likes for 3 weeks now. My husband eats these foods all the time. I find I don't feel the urge to indulge. However, today at work there was this wonderfully deliciously aromatic chocolate birthday cake... and yep.... I had a piece a small 1" x 2" single layer piece. Well I realized 2 things after that indulgence: #1 It really did not taste the way I expected it to taste- it was very artificial and plastic like. #2 It actually made me feel sick about 30 minutes later. So with that indulgence I realized sweet indulgence is not healthy for my body.
