I'm guessing having popcorn for supper last night, was not a brilliant idea. My blood sugar was up to 7.2 this am. ( should be 6.4 ) I ate popcorn, because it was Wednesday.. hubby golfs every Wednesday afternoon and evening, "men's night" at his golf club, so I have the afternoon and evening free. I didn't feel like cooking, and had recently purged the refrigerator of leftovers. My options were to either order in.. or popcorn. I won't be making this mistake again. I am intrigued about this 5 . 2 diet that is really big in the UK. I lived in Scotland for many years, going to university there, so have several friends.. I asked them about it.. a few had done it and they all had good things to say. Two of them are still doing it. Not because they still need to lose weight, but because its become their way of life and it means no counting, measuring , etc, for most of the week. I could do this.. using Wednesdays and Saturdays ( another golf day ) as my "2" days, and eat normally on the other days of the week. I also noted that another person on here, who appears on my news feed every once in a while, is also doing it and he seems to be pleased with his progress so far. A little more research is needed.
