This week I started exercising. For real. Previously I have just been walking to uni, which is exercise yes...but only 25 minutes each way which is less than an hour total per day, and I only do it 3-6 times per week. Also it doesn't really get my heart pumping or do anything for my upper body.

With the weight loss I have undergone since April I felt new motivation this week to actually start exercising. It's like it gave me the confidence to start. The I CAN DO IT! feeling :D

So I starting doing Zumba, through a challenge of 4 times per week. I am also doing some home exercises (squats, lunges, press ups etc) on 2 days of the week.

Zumba is going good...I am not very good at some of the moves but it is fun so far! As for the home exercises, the day after I did them the first time I was so stiff in my arms, so I think they are having an effect! Unfortunately I don't think my squat technique is good and my knees hurt on the second time I did them, so might give those a miss for a week and work on how I do them afterwards.
