ate pretty much the same thing I did yesterday. tried to boost the carbs and reduce the fats a bit. need to take in about 100 more cals or so more than likely. don't think I should have lost a full pound over night but we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.

Likely just glycogen and water. If it's a new cut, the first 5 pounds will come off quick if the carbs are lowered. I love to gain. I hate to cut. I'll try the lean gains idea after I shed 10 or so. I'll likely tweek it. I mess with everything.

I'm actually nearing the end of my cut, still a little bit to go but yea. think I just took a slight dip in cals, an easy adjustment to make. you could be right about the water and glycogen too though

I tend to swing all over the place on a cut. It can be as much as 10 pounds, but then I do the refeed thing.

Thanks for the buddy request. I'm 5'11" (was reading your bio) and in 2012 was 240ish. Summer 2014 I was 165 and was way too lean, but I hadn't been lifting long. I was likely below 10% by a bit. This time I should be 10% at 180. Looking forward to seeing what I've accomplished.
