RestDay88's Journal, 19 April 2016

Hey guys! So today was back day, hit some shoulders and core too, with a little over 16 minutes of HIIT cardio afterwards. Really great work out today at just a tad under 2 hours. Elbow is still bothering me, its been almost 2 weeks now that it has been tweaked. I know it order to get it fully healed I'm going to need to take around a week off from, at least, moderately heavy weight, if anything at all, and probably put my arm up in a sling while I'm not at work or at the gym, where I probably shouldn't be lol.

I know I just cant do that, not with the way I live my life. I NEED to be able to be active and lift and use my arms. Maybe in the near future towards the middle or end of summer if it is still just as bad I will do so, but right now I'm going to be stupid and suffer through it.

For food I had my usual omelet with all the stuff I usually put in it; onions, peppers, mushrooms, mozz cheese, and bacon, and I eat it on 2 slices of whole wheat toast. I put my protein in my coffee along with a little milk and it tastes delicious, I would recommend doing this. I let that fuel me for my work out a couple hours later. after my work out I downed a protein shake, then began to cook dinner which was some lean boneless country style ribs with some self seasoned and cooked rice with veggies. Probably going to have another, smaller, portion of it tonight for a later dinner. All in all a great dieting day! I'm mostly concerned about my lower calorie intake while getting at least my body weight in protein and that has been going good, especially in the last week.

For right now its 8:15 PM and i'm off to hit the park to do some calisthenics. Catch you all later!!
