Well the weather has cleared up and it was sunny and in the low 70's when we started out walking this AM. Unfortunately, the humidity is still there, but not as bad as it could be AND it should be GONE for the weekend!

Walked 2 miles with 2 doggies, and the full 3.1 miles with 1 of them. Maybe it was the weather, but I felt I had a bit more spring in my step today. Might have been the Stairmaster utilizing some different muscles yesterday, as well.

Anyway, going to color my hair this afternoon; just the usual covering up the gray. I used to be scared to do my own color, but now I just feel good saving the money.

I also need to begin boxing up some too-big clothing and assorted other items that we'll be donating next week. There's one of those trucks that comes by in the neighborhood, so it makes donation REALLY easy! It only comes by once a quarter, so whatever I forget to put out next week will have to wait until after Christmas.

I did some cleaning jobs that I hate yesterday (maybe that's why I ate too many peanuts...) and, true to form, DH didn't notice a thing. Isn't that just typical? I don't need someone to notice EVERYTHING I do, but just SOME things, every once in awhile, would be nice. Oh well, just gotta change my own expectations and let it go. Onward.

No peanuts today....staying on the straight and narrow. Focusing on getting to 155 by 10/15 (or sooner!). 155/154 is a normal BMI for me.

So now you are only 2/3 pounds from "normal". That is fabulous! So close, yet so far away! Good for you getting rid of your too bid clothing - I'm pretty sure I remember a time when you were holding on to it. Must be you are in a much better frame of mind now.

Well Buffy, I won't promise to get rid of everything (LOL!) but I'm ready to get rid of SOME of the items I had previously thought to keep. Maybe my frame of mind IS improving....

Of course. You now have to think of yourself as a "normal" person. BTW I hate the word "normal" - can't you tell.

Sandy - PS - Thanks for the challenge invite. I joined. Walking 30 min/day 3 times a week is something I can actually do. Didn't get to leave at lunch today and really wish I was out there right now.

Good for you getting rid of your too big clothing a bit more at a time, little steps! I would say your fram of mind is changing, not necesarily better, just different. In this case, Change is GOOD! Congrats on being Normal...(that just begs for a joke, but I will refrain...sigh...), BMI that is! I couldn't help just a little one, **giggling**, OK, I will stop. Isn't it remarkable how much they charge to color a girls hair? Doing it at home is way cheaper. I have started doing mine at home too, for the same reason. That was another change that was for the good, especially the pocket!

Thought you might like that challenge! Sometimes I don't send out any invitations, but for this one, I decided to send out invites to anyone who's been doing some walking for exercise anyway, just as some extra motivation to keep on going! I thought 3x/week sounded pretty reasonable and doable for most of us. BTW, I'm not crazy about the whole "normal" thing, either. Who wants to be normal??? LOL!!

Hey there GG...you can join that challenge too, if you want. I think I didn't send you anything because you're more often running and swimming PLUS you don't know what the Dr. will say about your foot next month.
