Dear Diary,

I met a girl. This may or may not be the girl of my dreams, but I am certainly enamored. And since she is bella, molto bella, I must work a little harder to become someone who is at least desirable. I wouldn't date me in the shape that I am in...so...for now it is the best motivation I have for working out and eating less. I have switched breakfast foods to include protein (chicken, egg whites) and raw veggies. I am avoiding bread and all things baked. That is enough for this week. If I keep drinking water, I am sure I will lose a pound a day. I am sure I can do this and feel less miserable about myself. Hopefully, she will take notice and seek me out for another date.

Some might say..."But you have to do it for yourself."...but I don't even like myself and if this motivation works for me...let it roll.

I am not saying I would do anything in the world for this person (it was just one date after all) but I certainly can say no to a doughnut.

I love doughnuts and they love me, because once I have one they stick around forever. Time to break it off with doughnuts and attract someone else.
