The "Latte Factor" is a popular money-saving strategy that entails saving large amounts of money by cutting down on small things—like daily lattes.

This can also be applied to daily calories.

Ranch Dressing 145 = Serving
Cream Cheese 49 = Tbsp
Butter 102 = Tbsp
Blueberry Muffin 426 = Medium
Coffee Creamer 35 = Tbsp
Ketchup 19 = Tbsp

Total 776

Wow do they add up fast, how many times do we just have a the serving that is on the label, I know when I used to use cream cheese for a bagel I would use 3 or 4 servings, and we will not talk about the coffee creamer.

I was amazed when I started counting calories that I was taking in and just ignoring them as the little ones that do not matter that much.

I completely agree Bruce. And much like "The Latte Factor" I can still save and get the satisfaction by making my own....or finding a replacement that's just as good to me. My go-to's for the things on your list: Ranch Dressing = Bolthouse 45/serving (their blue cheese is less and I like it better!) Butter = Balade 54/serving (some will scream but I like it) Muffin = Trader Joes Blueberry Bran 110 for 1/2 muffin Creamer = Trader Joe's Coconut Creamer or Coconut Milk Ketchup = I've found I really don't miss it at all!

Yes Vickie you are so right I have found out that I do not miss half the things that I though I needed to feel satisfied, I think a lot of it is the big companies making their adds so you will want to get their product and they do not care what is in it as long as you buy it.

If I am buying something new to me I'll go they every single brand to find the healthiest and I check the serving sizes to see if I can get more bang for my buck! I allow myself plenty of time at the store these days!
